Everybody wears a mask, and during our life, we polish it, adapt it to the image we want to see reflected on the mirror, and tell ourselves, this is me. We repeat it until we no longer remember who we are, deluded into believing that we are the image on the mirror, forgetting that there's something under the mask. Someone. The real us.
I have chosen ice and blades for my mask, and I have called it Patience. I can listen to you as long as you don't walk too close. Close to my heart, or close in your words and deeds to the memories of who I was once, which is someone that I now despise.
When you reach me, the blades of my mask will hurt the two of us. I am used to live with my bleeding wounds, but you will walk away, and when you turn around to ask me why I did hurt you, then you will realize about the smiling ice on the mask. You will leave me behind saying "she deserves it, she has a horrible cold heart." And I will turn around and go back to my dark places, hiding my tears and painting nightmares with them, under the stinging comfort provided by my perfect, cold mask.

It's too late
It's too late
« Soon in my life I understood I had been a mistake.
» I tried hard to be loved.
» I walked like a shadow so I would not be a bother. »
« I only wanted to be a little girl
» and daydream in my naive inner world. »
« But I had to renounce to dreaming,
» so that I would be the dream of the life you never had.
» You know that I worked hard. »
« I did everything you wanted.
» I even locked myself in the cage you built for my mind. »
« And now, after twenty years of abandonment... You say you're proud of me?
» It's too late, father. »

Luna

It's now five years since Luna visits the place. The traitorous Sea, liar cemetery saying it never saw her husband die. There was no storm that day. There was no reason at all. All what Luna knew is that five years ago, Sea drove to insanity, jealousy poisoning the waters, dragging to death her most precious treasure: her love.
Luna was planning revenge: Sea dead, dried, as the pain and the torment left her withered, lonely, bitter eyes.
That's why Luna tied that stone to her neck, why she jumped that night from the cliffs where she saw her husband smile the last time. She spread her arms like wings, an angel trying to reach the Sun, sunk within the water and whispered "I love you," last time.
Terrified, petrified, Sea tried to alter the course of water to the ocean so Luna could live. There was no ocean to ask help for. Luna was swept by the whirl and was one with the dark abyss, breathing her last. Sea cried and only the salt was left, covered Luna, regret tears crafting from her a statue to adore.
But then, Luna was just a memory, Sea, eternal suffering.
That's how, actually, the Dead Sea was born.

Blue
The day you cried cold crystal was the day you remembered when his blue gaze pierced your chest, reaching your heart.
The cold disdain in his eyes withered it forever; his cruel smile threw it into the well where hope is lost, and sadness breaks your soul. There your heart was smashed, broken, a thousand multicolored shards that quickly grayed; leaving only the stench of loneliness.
Within his ivory tower, atop an ivory throne, he laughs as he plays - turning hearts to crystal, he always loved the sound of crystal as it breaks. In the end, your feelings, emotions, hopes and dreams... how different are they from crystal? So easily shattered on a whim.
